Well, the winning streak continues as the Canucks beat the Calgary Flames, 4-1, with our man Roberto Luongo getting 29 saves. For Canuck’s fans, however, it is a bit frustrating, because while we like winning, it is a source of concern that there appears to be no consistent strategy.

Some nights, we win because of our defense team (most nights, actually). Some nights, they actually shoot a loy and get points. It seems like it is all ad hoc, just made up on the fly with no overall strategy or plan.

Can we keep it up? Can the Canucks’s winning ways continue, or is this just a fluke? Will we continue with our ugly wins? Even if they are ugly, at least they are wins. Only time will tell if the trend will continue (but we all hope so). However, right now, the Canucks are 8-0-1 within the Northwest Division, with the only loss a 1-0 shootout defeat against Edmonton on Wednesday. I do have to say, that is much better than I expected as late as just a week ago.
