In last night’s game, we Canuck fans were holding our breath going in. It has not been a pretty season, and honestly, now days we are at a point where we just don’t want to get our hopes up.

The game started well enough, with Calgary throwing a few pucks here and there, but in the third period they really turned the juice on, shooting 24 pucks in just that period (which, by the way, is as many in that one period as we Canucks shot the WHOLE NIGHT!). Luckily, Our man Roberto Luongo was in the net, serving as a brick wall. The awesome Luongo managed to save 36 for the night, helping us get ourselves a much needed victory.

We still are not shooting enough. Generally speaking, you want to shoot more, than less. It almost seems like out current strategy is “Not to lose”.

In any event, we are all happy Canucks tonight. I just hope we can keep it up.
